What is kept, and why

An order needs a name, an address, an email for the receipt and a number for the courier. That is kept with the order. A card is read by the payment processor inside its own field and is never held by the house; if you choose to keep one on file, it is kept there, and the house holds the last four digits.

The bag and the held list live in this browser and nowhere else until an order is placed.

Your choices

• —Marketing: the newsletter and launch notes are sent only to addresses that asked for them, and every one carries a way off the list.
• —Sharing: nothing is shared beyond the payment processor, the courier and the site's own analytics. You may opt out of the analytics share below; the other two are what an order is.
• —Access and deletion: your account page edits your details and deletes the account. Anything else, write to admin@arianoir.com and it will be answered within thirty days.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets one cookie, for the session, when you sign in. It uses the browser's local storage for the bag, the held list and the choice you make on this page. Analytics, where enabled, sets its own; the switch below turns it off for this browser.
